I made an Etsy store!

Hey guys, long time no see? ∩(︶▽︶)∩ I wanted to share with everyone that yes I did indeed reach my longtime goal of opening an Etsy account! I've always loved creating things with my hands and it has been my dream to make a living by doing so! So far I only have a few items up (I'll put pictures down below) but I do have some more items I'll be adding soon. The new Uni semester just started up again so all of my photographer friends are very busy, therefore I'm waiting for a more convenient time for them to shoot my new products. If only I was more talented in the photography category. ╮(─▽─)╭ Oh well~ 

My Etsy is inspired by all of the things I love, obviously Gyaru, but as well as sweet lolita, gothic lolita, decora, and steampunk. The name of my store is Aerial Angelic. Reason being: My middle name is Aerial and I've grown to love the way it sounds over the years AND Aerial describes some items I sell; my original, one of a kind, hand-made Book Page Wings. Angelic also fits into Aerial and adds that cutesy flare I was looking for. So that is the story behind the naming of my brand.( ^▽^)

It was really fun to shoot all of these photos. Doing hair and makeup was my favorite part for sure. My friend Ben is such a talented photographer, the photos turned out even better than I imagined. It was such a great feeling to see my items being photographed, it really assured me that this is what I want to do more than anything! All of the feathers on the wings are hand cut from well-loved books I've come across.

Now that I have opened my Etsy account my next goal is to be a seller at my cities annual Anime Convention, Anime Banzai in October. Sooooo exciting! I can't even tell you how long I've wanted to be a seller in our Artist Alley. I also have a goal of making a YouTube account for my crafting, style, makeup, and hair tutorials. Hopefully that's coming somewhere in the near future! (≧ω≦)

Gyaru DIY Easy+Cute Hair Clip

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in what....a year. (~￣▽￣)~ I'm dedicated I swear. I graduated High School and started Beauty School about 4 months ago so it's been pretty hectic. Excuses, excuses. ╮(─▽─)╭  Anyways enough babbling, let's get to the D.I.Y!

For this D.I.Y. you will need....

A manila folder

Flowers, Pearls, Any other decorations you desire. I didn't end up using my DAP to make whipped cream but I can do a tutorial using that if you wish.

A thread and Needle

Small bit of fabric

Lastly a hair clip 

Start by tracing around your clip on the folder, this will be the base of your clip. Make sure that you have the enough space for the design you have in mind. I did about 1 inch circumference around the clip.

Next you will trace and cut around the base you created in your fabric of choice. I used a pink silk. Make sure you have enough room to wrap the fabric over the bottom as well.

This is what it looked like all glued down. Luckily the center part that is uncovered will have the clip glued over it.

Here is the clip all hot glued down in the center. Now you can flip it over and decide on your layout. I decided I wanted pearls dangling with two pink roses on the clip.

For the pearls you will thread a needle twice, so thread it once, cut, and thread again. That way  it is sturdy enough. Now you can thread on the pearls until it has reached your desired length.

Now cut the thread well above when the pearls are, so they don't all just fall off, and hot glue them to the clip like this-

Nice little droop, don't worry about being too neat because your design will cover this. With the pearls on you can now layout your design to get a general idea and glue. I kept mine simple. 

Sooooo cute! o(≧o≦)o You can leave it as is or add some little crystals to the petals like I did.

And voila!~

Makeup Practice/Mini Gyaru Haul ( ^ 3 ^ )

Hello my lovelies! ;D I've been practicing my gal makeup (I suck) T.T

I quite like these lashes, I got them from my recent trip to San Diego. Every time I go to California I must make a trip to the Asian market. I was in a rush but I got 5 pairs of cheap lashes and 3 magazines (Ageha, Egg, Popteen)<33! 

I've been wanting a straw fedora, floral shorts, and some kind of white skirt so when I saw these I snatched them up. They're from a cute surf shop called Tilly's<3 I also got a longboard. ^u^

This post is really delayed v.v'' I've been kinda hoarding it for about a month. I swear to blog more!! I have so much to share.

Let's Jump Right into it! (≧∇≦)/

My first post! (ﾉ〃^▽^〃)ﾉ I'm not really sure which direction I'm going to take this blog! Most likely anything going on in my life interesting, although I can't Imagine people being interested enough in my life to follow this. (> . <); But I've been piling up pictures and such that I'd wanted to blog, but never got a chance. I guess I'll start in order of the events. Wouldn't want to neglect anything people might find interesting. Onward! (*^▽^*)ゞ 

So a new cosplay convention came to my city! How exciting~ I recycled a cosplay from an earlier convention in October. Here's a picture~ 

Me as a very incomplete Miki SF-A2....However I did make my costume myself, so a am quite proud of that. ^u^ The event was very small and because it was new my friends and I didn't go all out. But here's a picture of my cosplay from our main con. ^^
